This client is a national retailer with a sophisticated transportation network and very specific requirements for billing, auditing, accounting, and reporting.  The client also has high transaction volumes which requires efficient back end and front end tools to deliver the expected performance.  The client utilizes many of our services for an integrated freight audit and payment solution tailored to their needs.

Solution

 

Intune worked closely with the client’s team for about 60 days prior to the cut over date to configure, customize and test the systems and processes. Customized allocation and data loading was built for several strategic carriers. Reporting requirements and file interfaces were setup and tested. Payment history was loaded for reporting and duplicate protection.  The actual cut over was completed in 30 days. Small package cut over to Intune first, this was then followed by all of the other carriers.  A high percentage of the carriers were implemented from the start on EDI. 

 

The transition was smooth and running very efficiently after about 30 days for all modes and to everyone’s expectations.  Intune received compliments from numerous carriers and internal users after the implementation.
